Abstract

PURPOSE:To install a solar heat utilizing water heat on a veranda while leaving spaces as exits at the time of emergency, by disposing a heat collector unit on the outside of the veranda, and connecting the heat collecting unit to a hot-water storage tank installed on the veranda. CONSTITUTION:In a water heater utilizing solar heat of this invention, in which a heat collector unit 3 and a hot-water storage tank 4 are installed by utilizing a veranda 1 of a ferroconcrete apartment house or the like, support arms 2 are extended outwards from the veranda 1 and the heat collector unit 3 is installed on the support arms 2 in the manner that it leans slantwise on a guardrail 6. On the other hand, the hot-water storage tank 4 is installed directly on the floor 5 of the veranda 1 or otherwise on the upper wall of a window 8 located above the floor 5. The tank 4 and the heat collector unit 3 are connected to each other by a piping 7. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to make an efficient use of the veranda space and to keep emergency escaping function of the veranda.
