Abstract
PURPOSE: To remarkably increase the combustion efficiency of the pulverized coal, by sending the pulverized coal and liquefied fuel forcibly to a combustion burner through separate pipelines to be mixed and sprayed by the burner.
CONSTITUTION: The powdery coal pulverized by a coal pulverizing device 5 is forcibly sent into an inner cylinder 17 of the combustion burner 2 using compressed air, and at the same time, the liquefied fuel is also forcibly sent over between the inner cylinder 17 and an outer cylinder 16 of the burner 2, and the pulverized coal and the liquefied fuel are mixed and sprayed for combustion by the burner 2. Further, flow rate of the compressed air for sending of the pulverized coal and that of the liquefied fuel are separately measured by respective flowmeters 11,13, respective flow rate signals are compared with a set signal by a flow controller 15, and thus processed signals are sent over to a compressed air flow adjusting valve 12 and a liquefied fuel flow adjusting valve 14, and by making adjustments of opening of the flow adjusting valves 12 and 14, flow rates of the pulverized coal and the liquefied fuel are properly controlled to become a prescribed ratio.
