Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep a continuous good burning condition by a method wherein an air pressure is not decreased even if a load of a burner is decreased and a volume of air supplied in correspondence with the load of the burner is decreased.
CONSTITUTION: Combustion air is supplied to a combustion chamber via air feeding pipe 12 from a blower 11. The air feeding pipe 12 is divided into two branche pipes, and dampers 15 and 16 are provided in each of the branch pipes 13 and 14, respectively. The air fed from these branch pipes 13 and 14 is injected from each of the air injection ports 18, 18'...19, 19' arranged around a circumference of the fuel injection port 17 made at a center of the burner. Adjustment valve for the fuel supply pipe is opened or closed in response to an increase or decrease of the load of the burner, and at the same time the dampers 15 and 16 of the branch pipes are also cooperated and the dampers 15 and 16 are opened closed in sequence one by one.
