Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain good burning condition over wide range of a burner of gun type, by supplying the air for combustion to the space between both inner and outer sleeves and the inside of an inner sleeve, swirling the air in the inner sleeve by a swirler provided to the downstream of a nozzle, and by controlling the rate of feeding fuel and the rate of air interconnectingly. CONSTITUTION:The fuel oil pressurized by a solenoid operated nozzle 14 is injected from a return nozzle 15 by the intermediary of a nozzle adaptor 16, at the time of combustion. At this time, the rate of combustion is controlled such that the temperature of water in a hot water boiler is detected, and then, the opening of a valve of proportional control valve 17 in a return pipe 21 is controlled.
