Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the production of NOx by a method wherein hot air is discharged from a hot air duct provided on a full primary air combustion type radiation burner extending downwardly into a room and the primary air is supplied to the burner with an excess air rate of one or more. CONSTITUTION:The full primary air combustion type radiation burner 2 and the hot air duct 3 connected thereto in air-tight and extending downwardly are accommodated in a room heater 1 and the hot air is discharged from an air discharging port 3a at the lower end of the duct 3 into the room through a discharging window 1a. Further, pressurized air from a supplying fan 6 is injected into a mixing tube 2b for the burner 2 from an air nozzle 8 concentric with the gas nozzle to join with natural feed air of the primary air induced through a damper 9 in accompanied with the injection of the gas from the nozzle 7 and thereby effecting forced air feeding by the pressurized air. According to this method, the contact of atmosphere to the atmosphere of the combustion may be prevented and the temperature of the combustion may be lowered by the excessive primary air.
