Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform an efficient combustion of low calory gas, by operating a dual drive for two superchargers of exhaust gas turbine, supercharging inflammable gas efficiently into a combustion chamber simultaneously setting open-close valve timings to a specific degree of angle.
CONSTITUTION: Exhaust gas generated in a combustion chamber 1 of a diesel engine is fed to exhaust gas turbine superchargers 3,4 through a valve 2. The supercharger 3 is for feeding fuel gas generated in a gas producing furnace 5 to the combustion chamber 1, and the fuel gas is supplied in accordance with the operation of open-close of a valve 6. The supercharger 4 is for feeding oxygen from the atmosphere to the combustion chamber to supply the air according to the open-close operation of a valve 8. Then the open-close valve timings for each valve are determined as follows. Exhaust valve 2 open: 45°±5° before bottom dead center close: 60°±5° after top dead center Air intake valve 8 open: 45°±5° before top dead center close: 30°±5° after bottom dead center Gas intake valve 6 open: 50°±5° after top dead center close: 30°±5° after bottom dead center.
