CONSTITUTION:The facsimile input signals containing both the line synchronizing signal and the coded picture signal are stored successively into the 1st memory 4. The 1-bit code decided previously and the code different from the 1-bit code are written successively into the 2nd memory 5 each in synchronization with the writing into memory 4 during the storage of the picture signal in the input signal and the line synchronizing signal respectively. Then the code variation is detected for the output signals read out of memories 4 and 5 each.
