Abstract

PURPOSE:To confirm whether a transmitter is in correct operation or not on a TV monitor in a short time by storing encoded video information in a storage element, by reading the stored information at a speed corresponding to the band of a transmission line, and by writing the readout information in the storage element again. CONSTITUTION:A TV video signal from a terminal 20 is applied to a switching circuit 5 via an amplifier 1 and an A/D converting circuit 3 and the output of the amplifier 1 is applied to a clock pulse generating circuit 2, which generates clock pulses locked in a color carrier wave and a horizontal synchronizing signal. Those pulses are applied to the circuit 3, a timing pulse generating circuit 4, and a TV rate address counter 6. The output of a counter 6 is applied to a switching circuit 10 and the circuit 4, and the output of the circuit 6 is read out at a low speed and applied to an address counter 7; and video information encoded by the switching circuit 10 is stored in a storage element 11 and the stored information is read out with the output of the counter 7 corresponding to the band of a transmission line. Then, the read information is written in the element 11 again to confirm the operation of the transmitter on a TV monitor in a short time.
