Abstract
PURPOSE:To apply the input to the amplifier when the color broadcast is received and thus prevent occurrence of the color noise, by installing the input signal gate circuit which is controlled by the output of the color killer circuit and the burst gate pulse between the input terminal and the 1st amplifier. CONSTITUTION:Input signal gate circuit 8 is installed between carrier chrominance signal input terminal 1 and the 1st band amplifier 2, and the burst gate pulse sent from burst gate pulse input terminal 9 is applied to circuit 8 along with the output supplied from color killer circuit 7. Then circuit 8 is opened when the color broadcast is received, and the input signal is supplied directly to amplifier 2. While circuit 8 is opened only for the burst signal output period in the case of the black- and-white broadcast, and the input signal is supplied to amplifier 2 only for the signal output period in order to prepare for the color boradcast reception. Thus the burst signal is extracted in the burst gate period and simultaneously with switching to the color boradcast. and burst gate circuit 5 is actuated, and the 2nd band amplifier 3 is turned off via circuit 7. As a result, the occurrence of the color noise can be prevented.
