Abstract

1526671 Colour television ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 14 April 1977 [14 April 1976] 15500/77 Heading H4F Switching between two colour television signals is achieved using separate mixers 7, 8 for the chroma and luminance signals respectively, the changeover period for chroma being longer (200-350 ns) in order to reduce the introduction of high frequency interference which produces fring- ing, or a vertical saw-tooth structure. Mixer 8 is preferably an electronic switch and mixer 7 is preferably an "X-mixer". Circuits 3, 5, 9 and 4, 6, 10 separate the chroma and luminance from each incoming television signal.
