Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a thermosensitive characteristics of a sensor from deteriorating due to secular change by preventing a DC bias from being applied to the sensor with use of a converting circuit and a by-pass circuit in terms of a temperature controlling device such as an electric blanket. CONSTITUTION:DC voltage VCC for a temperature controlling circuit is obtained from AC voltage VAC through a diode 15, a resistance 16 and a capacitor 17 for a voltage drops. During a period when an A side of AC voltage VAC is a negative half cycle compared with an E side, a temperature is detected by a converting circuit 18, and in case when the detected temperature is lower than a set temperature, at the moment when the AC voltage VAC transfered to the positive half cycle, a trigger pulse is generated from an AC voltage synchronized comparison amplifying circuit 19 to trigger a power controlling element 9 to cause a half wave conduction through a heater 2 to raise the heater temperature to the set temperature. 20 is a by- pass circuit that permits the converting circuit 18 to by-pass to apply the AC voltage VAC to a sensor 3, during AC voltage VAC is a positive half cycle.
