Abstract

PURPOSE: To remove a deposit adhering to the surface of a blade, by jetting cleaning liquid into the suction passage of a turbo machine from many small holes provided in the surface of a vane.
CONSTITUTION: Jetting small holes 4 are communicated to a radial hole 2 and passage 3, and the radial hole 2 is extended through a mounting part 6 of a blade 1, provided with an opening 5 then connected to a casing communication hole 10 further to a pipe 8 guided to an external cleaning liquid tank 7. Utilizing a large level of negative pressure with respect to the atmospheric pressure obtained in the surface of an inlet guide vane, cleaning liquid is guided from the outside of a compressor, introduced from the opening 5 and jetted from the small holes 4, then the guide vane and moving and stationary blades situated in the downstream can be cleaned without unevenness thus deterioration of performance can be prevented.
