PURPOSE:To raise resolving power of an X-ray image intensifier, by interposing an Al evaporated blackened layer between an Al evaporated blackened layer between an Al made base plate and an input phosphor screen. CONSTITUTION:One surface of a base plate 12 made of Al is processed through anodic oxidation and hole sealing treatment, resulting in an uneven surface layer formed with time blocks of Al2O3. An Al evaporated blackened layer 13 is formed on this uneven surface. An input phosphor screen 14 made of CsI is formed on the blackened layer 13, and a photoelectric surface 15 is formed on this input phosphor screen 14. The Al evaporated blackened layer 13 is formed in a thickness of 5,000 angstrom and less.
