Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a microminature vibration sensor which does not contain any rotating part by slidably providing such a magnet which mutually repulses from stationary magnets on both sides between two pieces of stationary magnets. CONSTITUTION:Two pieces of stationary magnets 3 are fixed and mounted to the side walls of a stationary base 1 consisting of a nonmagnetic material such as brass or synthetic resin. A sliding magnet 4 is mounted slidably to the slide shaft 2 fixed between both side walls in a manner as to mutually repulse from the magnets 3 on both sides. The magnet 4 consist of a weight 4a of large specific gravity such as brass or lead, and magnets 4a, 4b bonded to both side surfaces and consisting of SmCo5. The inside surfaces of the holes penetrating these are applied with ''Teflon '' coating like on the outside surface of the slide shaft. The change in the position of the sliding magnet 4 caused by the vibrations from the outside is detected by a lead switch, a Hall element, a coil or other magneto-electric transducer. Thereby, the microminature vibration sensor which does not contain any rotating part is obtained.
