Abstract

In a rotating electric machine stator, the casing is formed by the assembly of two elements (17, 18) made from a plastics or other non-magnetizable material and a holding part (40), which is made integrally from a magnetizable material for forming a closed circuit for the magnetic field flux generated by the inductive means e.g. two stator magnets (19, 20), is mounted on the outer surface of the casing in order to maintain the two elements (17, 18) applied one against the other. The rotor of the machine may engage the stator through low friction washers (16 a/b Fig. 4 not shown), one of which is resilient and prestressed.
