Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the brake function against the external force of rotation by a method wherein two homopolar permanent magnetic rotors are installed in parallel on the same shaft in such manner that electric and magnetic cycles are deviated by a half cycle, and are faced to a generator coil respectively. CONSTITUTION:Making use of a permanent magnetic rotor and two generating devices, having the generating coil facing to the magnetic rotor and having the same number of magnetic poles, the permanent magnetic rotor is installed in parallel on the same rotating shaft in such manner that the electric and magnetic cycles are deviated by a half cycle and they are faced to the magnetic coils respectively. Through these procedures, the attracting force between the permanent magnet and the coils is always reversely directed by means of the two generating devices and when said procedures are used in the generator for a bicycle, the brake action against the external force of rotation can be reduced.
