Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve color reproducibility, by making phase correction of a phase reference signal with the phase component of each chroma output signal and by making phase detection for the chroma output signal with corrected phase reference signal, in a phase separation type mono-tube type color camera device. CONSTITUTION:The output from a camera 1 is fed to an LPF3 via an amplifier 2 to obtain a luminance signal, and further fed to a separation circuit 6 via a BPF5 to obtain a phase reference signal Si from an output terminal 6a and a chroma output signal Sc from a terminal 6b. Further, the signal Sc is fed to an addition circuit 13 via a phase shifter 10, amplitude limiter 11 and a correcting amount adjuster 12 and the signal Si is directly fed to the circuit 13. The output is fed to phase detectors 7a, 7b as a signal having 90 deg. of phase difference via two phase shifters 8a, 8b, respectively to make phase detection for the chroma output signal Sc.
