Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit the converging mirrors to follow automatically the sun with small power by rotating in the horizontal and vertical directions it such that discrepancy among relfected lights from the converging mirrors for the solar light is detected with two thermocouples with zero difference between their outputs. CONSTITUTION:The solar light is refleccted from the numerous converging mirrors 2 placed within a wall 9 for protection against wind located in opposition to a main curved mirror 1, being converged onto a heat exchanger tube within a flue 4. Output currents of a pair of thermocouples 5, 6 provided to the reflective converging mirror 2 are sent to magnet coils 7, 8 mounted on a ring 14 supporting at two sup- porting points 12, 13 the outer circumference of the converging mirrors 2. The center of an axis 24 is moved with magnetic force to rotate a disk 23 with magnetic force of a small magnet coil 27 attached to the 24 and through a thin rod 21 engaged to the disk 23, the converging mirrors 2 are rotated horizontally so as to be zero difference between the thermocouples 5, 6. A rotation in the vertical direction is adjusted in the same way. Hereby, it is possible to permit the converging mirrors 2 to follow automatically the sun with small power.09
