Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the formation of cracks and perform undulated or multicolor pattern finishing by applying inorganic paint on a substrate then applying aggregate or a mixture of aggregate and a hardener for inorg. paint thereon while said paint is in a half-set state.
CONSTITUTION: Inorg. paint contg. a general hardener is applied on a substrate at about 50W500g/m2, and while the inorg. paint is in a half-set state, aggregate or a mixture of aggregate and a hardener is applied thereon at a rate of about 50W 1,000g/m2. Thence, it is dried at ordinary temp. or is baked at about 150W250°C, and if necessary, it is subjected to washing and the like and is removed of the excess hardener, whereby the product is obtained. The substrates includes asbestos cement boards, fiberglass boards, etc., and the aggregate includes glass beads, pearlite, silica sand, etc. The hardener to be mixed with the aggregate includes chloride, oxide, hydroxide, carbonate, etc. of aluminum, zirconium, etc.
