Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic head which exceles in the reproduction sensitivity and the MOL characteristics, by carrying out a heat process while applying a magnetic field to the amorphous lamination layer's magnetic core. CONSTITUTION:After the adhesion of a lamination layer, a heat process is carried out while applying a vertical magnetic field, i.e. a magnetic field of the thickness direction of the magnetic core of lamination layer within the face of the magnetic core. Furthermore a heat process is given while applying a rotary magnetic field within the face of the magnetic core. In this case, it is desired to apply the vertical magnetic field first and then the rotary magnetic field. With addition of such process to the manufacturing process of a magnetic head, a magnetic head can be produced with a material having the 11,500G magnetic flux density and the >=10,000 magnetic permeability. Thus this head can be well used for a metallic tape having a high HC. Furthermore a magnetic head can be obtained with a property of +2dB in terms of the MOL value of a low band for a cassette stereo head in comparison with a sendust head.
