Abstract

PURPOSE: To enrich a gas mixture only during the operation of an engine by a method wherein a drive signal to an air rate adjusting electromagnetic valve of the electronic type carburetor is interrupted and the electromagnetic valve is closed to the full only when the engine is operated at a low temperature and accelerated rapidly.
CONSTITUTION: The signal A from a gas sensor of the exhaust system is input to a drive signal generating circuit 1 and the pulse signal generated from the circuit 1 is transmitted to the air rate adjusting electromagnetic valve 6 through a gate 5 to thereby perform an air bleed control. In this case, the signals from a temperature senser 2 and a rapid acceleration signal generator 3 have already been input to a gate control circuit 4 so that when the engine is operated at a low temperature and accelerated rapidly, the gate 5 is opened to thereby close the electromagnetic valve 6 to the full.
