Abstract
PURPOSE:To select and detect the noises caused by corona by generating the output pulses only when the pulses, which have reached a specified number of counts within a sampling period, are detected out of the synchronized noises. CONSTITUTION:When the noises generated in the electric equipment 1 are detected by a detecting element 3, the corona noises are passed through a high pass filter 5. However, completely random noises and the syncrhonized noises are not blocked. The corona noises are converted into a corona pulse voltage by a comparator 6, and inputted into an NAND circuit 7. A gate circuit 13 feeds the gate signal to the NAND gate 7 for every 180 deg. of an AC waveform. As a result, the synchronized pulse voltage, which is the synchronized noises to be inputted together with the corona pulse voltage, is blocked to enter a counter circuit 8. If the frequency dividing ratio of the counter 8 is n=f.k/2, where k is 1-2, and the sampling period is one second, only the corona signal passes the circuit 7, and the pulses which judge the presence or absence of the discharge can be inputted to a signal processing device 9 at every second.
