Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the precise average wind speeds at a plurality of locations, in the pitot tube for measuring the average wind speeds, by connecting the central points of 2<n> pieces of full pressure tubes each having two holes for measuring the full pressure, connecting the tubes to one pressure takeout tube, and separately providing a static tube. CONSTITUTION:The central points of the two full pressure tubes 32 having the two full pressure measuring holes 31 are connected to the first connecting tube 33 for communicating a pressure, at an angle of 45 deg.. The number of the pressure tubes 32 is 2<n>, where (n) is an integer. The central points of the two first connecting tube are connected to the second connecting tube 34 at a right angle.
