Abstract
PURPOSE: To brake a driven shaft which is disengaged with a clutch during starting etc. by installing a valve which makes opening and closing action after detecting strokes of a power cylinder member corresponding to a starting effect of a detent and controls the supply of hydraulic fluid to a clutch brake.
CONSTITUTION: A control valve 42 is installed in a lower part of a booster equipment 44. The valve 42 is designed to open and close after detecting strokes of a power cylinder member 43 which corresponds to the beginning of a detent's effect to an actuating member 11 and controls the supply of hydraulic fluid to a clutch brake 7. When the actuating member 1 is stepped on and the effect of a detent 8 starts, a power piston 43b pushes a rod 42d of the control valve 42 of the clutch brake 7 and opens a shut-off valve 42c of the control valve 42 and feeds compressed air to the clutch brake 7 through an air pipe 6 from the surroundings of the shut- off valve 42c and thereby operates the clutch brake 7. This construction provides an easy control of the clutch brake 7. This construction is attained by simply adding a control valve 42. Therefore, the cost is very low.
