Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce an effect of noise, by forming a resetting circuit with a Zener diode which generates the reference voltage and a storage battery voltage setting resistance that lowers to secure a timing for generation of a reset signal. CONSTITUTION:Automatic switching is given to a storage battery which functions as a backup power source after an AC power source is turned off, and a switching transistor TRQ1 is turned off when the output voltage VCC becomes less than VMIN. Then the base current of a TRQ2 flows via a Zener diode ZD2 and a resistance R1 to turn on the TRQ2. Thus a desired reset signal RS is delivered through an output terminal 13. As a result, a stage of inverter can be excluded for a resetting circuit unlike the conventional circuit to simplify the circuit constitution with a reduction of the effect to the noise.
