Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a hunting phenomenon through the passage of an appropriate amount of cooling fluid corresponding to the excess amount of heat of an object to be cooled, by a method wherein the opening angle of a cooling fluid path is changed by means of a control signal from a temperature regulator and opening and closing are repeated according to an opening and a closing signal. CONSTITUTION:A thermoelectromotive force, produced at a temperature-sensitive member 4 sensing a temperature of an object to be cooled, i.e., a cylinder 1 by means of the thermoelectromotive force, is fed to a temperature regulator 5 through a lead wire 12. The temperature regulator 5 is a comparator which compares a reference current, corresponding to a set temperature set beforehand, with a current corresponding to a measured temperature to find a difference between them. In case the measured temperature is higher than the set temperature, an electric signal for actuating a cooling circuit is outputted, and an output electric signal to a heating circuit actuates to turn on and off a power source of a heating member 11. Meanwhile, an intermittent switching signal for actuating a switching valve 17 and a control signal for adjusting a discharge regulating valve 16 are outputted to a cooling circuit.
