Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it speedy and easy to fix a turning cut tool such as a side mill and a face mill to an arbor or a spindle and remove the former from the latter. CONSTITUTION:A cutter body element 23 is fixed by a screw 41 through fitting of a plate 40 to the end part thereof and forms a united and complete circular body. To the tip-fitting seat 36 of the body is fitted a cutting-blade tip 37 removably with a wedge 37 and a fastening bolt 38. An adapter 22 is positioned and fixed to an arbor 21 with collars 47 and 49 and a key 48. The convex part 35 of the cutter body element 23 is put in the concavity 25 of the adapter 22 and the element 23 is connected by the above plate 40 to form the circular body, being fixed easily to the adapter 22 by tightening a fastening screw 45.
