Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of zinc fume by sucking the internal atmospheric gas of the chamber of a galvanizing apparatus and circulating it to the chamber after removing zinc vapor through a heat resistant filter. CONSTITUTION:The internal atmospheric gas of a chamber 14 is taken out of gas taking-out holes 20 close to the outlet of the chamber 14 through valves 33, 34 and fed to a filter vessel 23-1 or 23-2. Pressurized N2 is blown into other vessel 23-2 or 23-1 from an N2 blowing hole 28 to wash the heat resistant fiber. The gas cleaned in the vessel 23-1 or 23-2 is fed to a heater 32 through a blower 30, heated together with fresh N2, and supplied to the chamber 14 from a gas blowing hole 37. The oxygen concn. of the circulating gas is monitored with an O2 meter 31 to check penetrated air, and when the gas contains penetrated air, it is released into the air through a bypass.
