Abstract

CONSTITUTION: Molten alloy steel is prepared by adding a small amount of ≥1 kinds of metals selected from B, Al, Ga, In, Tl, etc. in the IIIb group of the periodic table, C, Ge, Sn, Pb, etc. in the IVb group, N, P, As, Sb, Bi, etc. in the Vb group or O, S, Se, Te, etc. in the VIb group to Fe and Si. The molten steel is rapidly cooled by spraying on the surface of a rotating metallic roll to obtain a silicon steel strip.
