Abstract
PURPOSE: To economically carry out stable ultra low nitriding of the title alloy by charging a specified amt. of powder to be treated and a flux contg. alkali metals, alkaline earth metals and their halides into a container of a specified horizontal cross sectional area after which the charged materials are heated in a non-oxidizing atmosphere, cooled, and charged into water.
