Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the reduction of the concentration of injurious components of a desorbent gas, in case of passing a fluid to be treated and a desorbent fluid alternately through an adsorbent medium, by mixing the desorbent fluid outgoing at the initial stage with the influent fluid to be treated before being passed the adsorbent medium.
CONSTITUTION: An adsorbent medium 1 is held in a cylindrical case 2, and its shaft 3 is rotated in the arrowed direction. The inner space of the cylindrical case 2 between both end plates 5, 5' placed opposite to each other in the axial direction is divided by partitions 31, 31', 31", 32, 32'; an inlet 7 and an outlet 8 of a zone 6 for passing the fluid to be treated and an inlet 10 and an outlet 11 of a zone 9 for passing the desorbent fluid are formed.
