The random number command instruction is given to the accumulator 2 from an arithmetic device 3 of a microcomputer or the like, and outputs of frequencies f12-f15 of the frequency divider 1 are stored as random numbers in the accumulator 2 at a prescribed timing synchronized with this command instruction, and contents of the accumulator 2 are given to the arithmetic device 3 as random numbers as required. Thus, the constitution of the random number generating circuit is simplified.
