A retrieving robot 2 having a read/write magnetic head 3 is moved up to a retrieval position 2', and retreats to the origin 2 after retrieving the codes 114. Unless the codes 114 are demand codes, the floppy disc is returned to the sending rack by the command of the computer, and if they are demand codes, it is transferred as shown by an arrow and is inserted into the floppy disc device. Thereby, the loading and changing of programs are automated.
