Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a linear trace on a projection surface, by varying at least either of the incidence angle and incidence position of a laser beam incident to a rotary mirror by a deflecting means provided in front of the rotary mirror. CONSTITUTION:Galvanomirror 9, provided behind collimator lens systems 3 and 3', is capable of being driven with an electric signal as shown by the arrows, and a laser beam condensed through collimator lens systems 3 and 3' is reflected by this galvanomirror 9 to irradiate rotary mirror 4. Rotary mirror 4 and parabolic reflector 7 drive galvanomirror 4 during one scan of rotary mirror 4. Therefore, the angle of incident perpendicular to the scanning direction of the laser beam at parabolic reflector 7 is variable. Consequently, the laser beam reflected by parabolic reflector 7 has linear 1' to flat projection surface 5.
