Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a heat conductive surface of high heat conductivity by a method wherein a sheet having a porous layer formed of sintered particles is adhered over the surface of a heat conductive substrate.
CONSTITUTION: A paste consisting of a mixture of metallic particles and an organic bond is coated over a metallic sheet 7. The sheet is then subjected to a high temperature heat treatment to obtain the sheet 3 having the porous layer. The sheet 3 is cut ot a desired shape and is adhered over the surface 2 of the heat conductive substrate through an intermediate layer 8 by the use of a press or the like to thereby obtain the heat conductive surface 4. With the above method, a simple and uniform heat conductive surface can be obtained over any heat conductive substrate of a complicated configuration.
