Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve output and perform an exhausting measure by a method wherein an intake throttle valve of the intake system is linked with an exhaust throttle valve of the exhaust system to open the exhaust throttle valve to a certain opening at an idle time, further to quicken the full opening of the exhaust throttle valve then the opening of the intake throttle valve.
CONSTITUTION: The primary side intake throttle valve 2 of a double carburetor 1 is linked with an accelerating pedal 7 through an accelerating line 10. With the link 10 a link mechanism 13 consisting of the rods 15 and 16 and a connecting part 17 is linked and on the tip thereof the exhaust throttle valve 8 to be provided within the exhaust manifold 5. Also the throttle valve 8 is provided with an actuator to be instructed by a computer, which forcedly opens and closes in the fixed driving range. And through the computer 21 the throttle valve 8 is opened to a certain opening at an idling time and then linked with the intake throttle valve 2 further to be fully opened earlier than the intake throttle valve.
