Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure a quick detection for a fault of the bearing with a high sensitivity, by installing plural temperature sensors in which a temperature-sensitive part is formed by securing a mutual connection between the terminals of one side of two different kinds of metallic wires and then laying these temperature sensors at the fixed side of the bearing with an appropriate spaces secured among them. CONSTITUTION:Four temperature-sensitive parts 4a-4d of a temperature sensor 4 are laid in distribution to the bearing 2 and in the circumference direction. These parts 4a-4d are connected in parallel and then connected with a thermometer 6 via the lead wires 5 and 5' in order to detect the maximum temperature of bearing 2. For instance, a thermocouple of alumel-chromel is used for the sensor 4. Thus the figure 4' is the chromel wire as shown by a 1-dot chain line, and 4'' shows the alumel wire by a solid line. The thermometer 6 can detect the highest temperature among the parts 4a-4d by such a connection as shown in the diagram.
