Abstract

In the third process, tempering process is performed for the refining of coarse crystal grains generated in the fusing. Following this process, the heat-treated material is machined by means of turning lathe, etc. in the fourth process. In the fifth process, a gear cutter is used to provide finish processing. In the sixth process, the surface of the tooth form part is hardened by high frequency. In the seventh process, the hardened part is tempered. Thus it is possible to obtain an internal hardness and strength on a deddendum part and process suitable for high-precision and high-load gear.
