Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable precise exhaust separation of solvent even if the degree of vacuum is changed due to the changes of column temperature or the flow of carrier gas. CONSTITUTION:A differential circuit 20 is connected through a resistor R1 to the output of a vacuum measuring circuit 12 while an integrating circuit 30 is connected through a resistor R3. Diodes D1, D2 and timer 16 are connected through a resistor R6 to the output of the integrating circuit 30. A transistor Tr1 is connected through an inverter 17 to the output of the timer 16, and a pre-cut bulb 4 is connected to the collector of said transistor Tr1. When connecting the differentiating circuit 20 and the integrating circuit 30 in series and operating the timer 16, the variation of base line and the noise due to the column temperature change can be neglected thereby only the solvent peak can be detected.
