Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the repeating use of a photosensitive layer by adding a condensation resin of 1,1-bis(4-dibenzylaminophenyl)propane and formaldehyde to the layer to enable the cleaning of the surface of the layer with a solvent. CONSTITUTION:A coating liq. prepared by adding a condensation resin of 1,1-bis (4-dibenzylaminophenyl)propane and formaldehyde and a dye for sensitization in the visible light region to a binder soln. is applied to electrically conductive support 1 and dried to form photosensitive layer 2a. Charge carrier generating substance 3 is dispersed in charge transferring medium 4 consisting of said resin and binder to form photosensitive layer 2b on support 1 in place of layer 2a. Thus, a photoreceptor is manufactured. When the surfaces of layers 2a, 2b are stained by repeating copy, they can be cleaned with n-hexane, alcohol or the like without dissolving said resin, and a fine copy is obtd. even after the cleaning.
