Abstract
PURPOSE:To automatically perform the excavation of a trench by an oil-pressure excavator by a method in which boom angle and arm angle are detected and then control values for each of the horizontal movement of a bucket, the angle of the bucket, and the turning angle of boom are obtained at the first to the third arithmetic circuits. CONSTITUTION:Boom angle alpha and arm angle beta are detected by detectors, and control value for the boom angle alpha is obtained at the fisrt arithmetic circuit. Then, a control value for the angle of a bucket is obtained at the second arithmetic circuit, and a control value for the turning angle theta of the boom is obtained at the third arithmetic circuit. Thus, when excavation is conducted by driving an arm cylinder, a trench having horizontal face and a fixed depth can be automatically excavated.
