Abstract

PURPOSE: To lead out the output proportional to the load weight of the vehicle by interposing a strain generating member at the lower part of a suspension spring.
CONSTITUTION: At the central part of a suspension spring 2, an upper spring seat 6 is arranged at the upper side thereof an I-shaped strain generating member 5 concurrently used as a lower spring seat is arranged at the lower side thereof. The upper spring seat 6 has a bar member 7, which is extended in a hole formed in the suspension spring 2. At both ends of the strain generating member 5, there are formed holes 8 slantly extending in the vertical direction at both upper ends and hooks 9 are formed at both lower ends. Further, on the upper surface of the strain generating member 5 there is formed an escape hole 10 of the suspension spring 2. To the strain generating member 5 there is applied the load weight through loading base, chassis frame and suspension spring 2, and on the surface of the strain generating member 5 a strain variation proportional to the load weight is generated. This strain variation is understood as the resistance value variation of a strain detecting element 19.
