Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the ascending and descending movement of an operated member by varying the width of a plate which constitutes the spiral spring so that a balanced zone and an unbalanced zone with respect to the weight of the operated member or the weight moment can be obtained. CONSTITUTION:A plate material 1 to constitute the spiral spring A has a varied width to form a wide part 3, a middle part 4 and a narrow part 5, and these parts form the balanced zone and the unbalanced zone with respect to the weight of the operated member or the weight moment. When the spiral spring A is pulled out to reach the middle part 4 at which the balanced zone is defined, the spiral spring A balances with the load of the operated member B so that the operated member B can descend with a small amount of working force. If the spiral spring A is further pulled out from this state to reach the narrow part 5 at which the unbalanced zone is defined, the above-mentioned balance is destroyed so that the operated member B descends rapidly because of the weight of the member B. In order to ascend the operated member B, the unbalanced zone defined in the wide part 3 is used.
