Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable the fixing of a developer by a pressure fixing method and reduce ground stain by dispersing fine particles of a magnetic material in a liq. as the core of a microcapsule type toner and mixing this toner with a carrier. CONSTITUTION:The particle size distribution of microcapsules is selected to be 10- 13mum, and that of one carrier of an Fe base material to be 30-40mum. As the other carrier such an Fe base material having 3-5mum particle size is used. The latter carrier is added to the former carrier by 3-5wt% and mixed, and a developer having 5-20% toner concn. is prepared. In other example, the particle size distribution of microcapsules is selected to be 10-13mum. As the 1st carrier an Fe base material such as Fe2O3 having 10-15mum particle size is used, and as the 2nd carrier an equivalent mixture of Al2O3 and SiO2 as nonmagnetic materials having 1-5mum particle size is used. The 2nd carrier is added to the 1st carrier several % and mixed.
