Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve fluidity and perform conveying, developing and efficient transfer by mixing two kinds of magnetic toners of respectively different grain sizes and magnetic forces and using the mixture.
CONSTITUTION: Magnetic toners are produced from magnetic powder, covering resins and coloring agents. At this time, the large grain size toner of grain sizes 30 to 100μ of good fluidity and magnetic attracting force and high coercive force and containing 40 to 5wt% of resin amount and the small grain size toner of grain sizes 1 to 20μ of magnetic force weaker than this and not so good fluidity are mixed and used. In developing, only the small grain size toner is consumed and therefore only required is to replenish this, thus maintenance and inspection are simplified.
