Abstract

1375814 Electrostatic toner CANON K K 15 May 1973 [15 May 1972] 23181/73 Heading G2H A toner comprises a colouring material and a chelate compound of a bi-tri-or tetravalent metal with EDTA or an ammonium or alkali metal salt of EDTA, together with a binding resin. Chelate compounds, resins and colouring agents which can be used are listed. The toner may be dispersed in an insulating liquid, or be mixed with ferromagnetic or glass carrier particles. Multiple exposure preparation of colour copies is described.
