Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the heat exchange efficiency and contrive miniaturization, especially thinning of the collector by a construction wherein a plurality of heat pipes are provided on the heat receiving plate in the heat receiving box consisting of its main body made of the material of inferior conduction of heat and a cover made of good conductor of heat.
CONSTITUTION: Spacer ribs 11a are projected from the inner bottom surface 11b of the heat receiving box 10 consisting of the main body 11 made of bad conductor of heat and the cover 12 made of good conductor of heat. The heat receiving plate 22 is put fixedly on the upper end of the spacer ribs 11a. On the upper surface of the plate 22, a plurality of heat pipes 21 are provided securing at the outer circumferential surface. The cooling part (not shown) of the heat pipe 21 is protruded outwards through the heat receiving box 10. The heat receiving part of the heat pipe 21 is secured in the concave strip 22a, which is provided on the heat receiving plate 22 in the longitudinal direction of the box 10, contacting closely over nearly semicircle of the outer circumference. According to the construction described above, in spite of the slender heat pipe 21, an extremely large heating surface can be obtained to improve the heat absorption efficiency.
