Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the cooling efficiency by providing a taper ring on the top of the cylinder preventing deformation of the radiating fins to pass cooling air passing through spaces between the radiating fins of the collector through the top of the collector.
CONSTITUTION: The cooling mechanism of the collector 1 comprises radiating fins 2, a deformation preventing cylinder 5, and taper ring 6. Accordingly cooling air 4 passes through spaces between the radiating fins 2 without diffusion by the effect of the deformation preventing cylinder 5, and the cooling air 4 is directed to the top 1a of the collector by the effect of the taper ring 6. Thus the top 1a of the collector is cooled effectively, and the cooling efficiency of microwave tube with high frequency, high gain, and large output can be remarkably improved.
