Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize the efficient, inexpensive manufacture of fresh water which utilizes solar heat, by forcibly condensing high temperature, high pressure sea water from a solar heat collector by a condunser which utilizes in-system sea water.
CONSTITUTION: The titled device consists of a solar heat collector C which increases the temperature and pressure of sea water, a fresh water separator S, and a heat exchanger H which performs heat exchange between waste water from the waste water receiver 5 of the device S and sea water to be fed to a condenser 2. Said fresh water separator S consists of a casing 1, the condenser 2, a water collector 3, a nozzle 4 which spouts high-temperature, high pressure sea water, and a waste water receiver 5. Consequently, the high temperature, high pressure sea water, which has, for example, ≥120°C, obtained by collecting solar heat is condensed forcibly by a condenser 2, thus obtaining fresh water efficiently through simple operation.
