Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce the weight and manufacturing cost of gears, by mounting flanges respectively to an output shaft end and the periphery of an internal gear and coupling said flanges, located at a face-to-face position, with pins arranged near the periphery.
CONSTITUTION: At the shaft end of an output shaft 5 and the periphery of an internal gear 4, flanges 8, 4b are provided respectively and coupled by several number of resilient pins 21. The pin 21 is mounted to the flange 8 in such a manner that its one end is inserted into a hole 8a and securely tightened by a flange 21a of the pin 21 and a nut 27. While the other end of the pin is mounted to a flange 4b of the internal gear 4 through a spherical bearing 23. Said spherical bearing 23 removes bending problem of the pin 21 for the transmission of torque between the flanges 8, 4b to permit radially and circumferentially directional freedom given to the internal gear 4 and moderate the effect caused by a change of torque for gears or shaft systems due to the elastic deformation of bending of the pin 21.
